孟 城 坳
新 家 孟 城 口
古 木 馀 衰 柳。
来 者 复 为 谁?
空 悲 昔 人 有。

Past generations with empty sorrows.
Commentary:
The last two lines reminds me a lot of the lines in the book of Ecclesiastes 1:9, “What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.”
