Proud Fishing Households: No. 3
Warm sun, late flowers wave in the wind
Ladies wearing red powder compete with fine flowers.
But flowers not able to speak, only understand smiles
Golden pots changed over and over again.
Blossoms open, men approaching old age have few years left
Carriages and horses through the nine palace gates arrived with their chaos.
None of the travelers truly admire the Chang’an highway
Palace people listen carefully for the water clock and emergency drum sounds.
Run around from dawn to dusk to dawn
People inside the capital city of Chang’an age very quickly.
