Jiang Gan,Pang Tong,Kan Ze – Romance of the Three Kingdoms

Jiang Gan, courtesy name Ziyi, was a debater and scholar who lived during the late Eastern Han dynasty of China. He is best known for his attempt to persuade Zhou Yu, a general serving under the warlord Sun Quan, to defect to Sun Quan’s rival Cao Cao after the Battle of Red Cliffs in the winter of 208–209.

Pang Tong, courtesy name Shiyuan, was a key adviser to the warlord Liu Bei in the late Eastern Han dynasty of China. In his youth, Pang Tong was disregarded because he was plain looking, however Sima Hui highly esteemed him calling him the “Crown of Scholars in Jing Province”.

Kan Ze, courtesy name Derun, was an official of the state of Eastern Wu during the Three Kingdoms period of China.
