Yangzhou: Three Poems: No.3
Every thousand steps, a willow tree along the street
Rosy clouds reflect two layers of the city.
Sky bluish-green, beautiful terraces and pavilions
On the cool breeze, clear songs of wind instruments.
Tiny waists in between two long sleeves
Jade pendants with various and numerous tasseled halters.
Wide main street with splendid side streets
Such bold radiance one cannot name!
Naturally became uncultivated with debauchery and crime.
